13 Years NED Experience to Offer
Merisha has worked as a Non-Executive Director since age 23 when she was appointed to City Pride Birmingham (later became the City Strategic Partnership). As such she has amassed a wealth of experience in supporting the Strategic Development, Business Governance, and Organisational Development Strategies, in both commercial and public sector environments.
With a talent for developing strategy Merisha has been effective in assisting organisations she has served to undertake organisation wide cultural change, mergers, achievement of trust status and business improvement in line with commercial and government standards. Further, Merisha’s involvement with media has enabled better communication between the organisations she has served and the general public to create opportunities and engagement.
She has always had a keen interest in criminal and social justice, which has heavily influenced Merisha’s NED appointments over the years. She served 8 years with the Staffordshire and West Midlands Probation Trust, and more recently has been appointed to Fry Housing Trust.
With a passion for developing the talents and opportunities of Entrepreneurs, Merisha has recently become the Midlands Director for international organisation, Women Speakers Association.
